The rich selection of food products makes us particularly biased in our choice, asking ourselves many questions. What's hidden under the bright packaging? Is the whole truth about the composition given on the label? Will the product taste as good as we hope? And many other questions in the same spirit.
For most of us, they remain unanswered. And the solution is found by trial (if you’re lucky, there’s a tasting in the store) or by purchasing “at random,” which happens much more often. Well, then - depending on your luck. Or it will be delicious and the product will firmly enter our shopping list. Or you won’t like it and the conclusion will be a decisive: “Never again!”
To avoid relying on chance, you can explore the Internet and become familiar with products that have received good reviews. Or you can turn to one, but reliable and authoritative source of information. In Ukraine, this is the Center for Independent Consumer Expertise “TEST”. Its experts constantly conduct comparative studies of food products purchased in stores and rate them on a 5-point scale. So, in a recent test, experts studied 9 brands of kefir and shared their findings with us.
This fermented milk product ideally has not only an excellent refreshing taste, but also proven health benefits. It improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and serves as an excellent help for those who strive to eat lightly and correctly. Therefore, it is natural that the experts carefully analyzed the composition of all participants in the comparison, the correctness of labeling, and, of course, tried each sample in order to describe the taste to us in detail.
What happened in the end? Only 2 participants did an excellent job. One of them is kefir TM “Bila Lineya”. The Center's specialists noted its pleasant fermented milk taste, the required levels of fermented milk bacteria and yeast (without which kefir is no longer kefir), only natural milk in the composition and the complete absence of foreign additives (starch, antibiotics, vegetable oil, harmful bacteria).
This is not the first time that the products of the Belotserkovsky Dairy Plant (BMK), where kefir and other products of the Bila Linea TM are produced, have received praise and high ratings from consumers and experts. This newest facility was built from scratch in an environmentally friendly area just five years ago. It was immediately conceived and equipped with the latest science and technology, taking European standards as a starting point.
One of the main principles of the enterprise is to work only with natural, high-quality raw materials. Fresh milk of the first and highest grade is regularly supplied to him daily by large farms in the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions. Each batch is tested in the laboratory according to a whole list of parameters. And only if they are normal, milk is allowed for production. Here it is carefully and carefully processed by modern equipment, the main task of which is to ensure the purity of the milk and at the same time preserve the vitamins and valuable substances that nature has endowed this product with.
Then comes the moment of “transforming” milk into one of our favorite products. Direct application starters from the world's best manufacturers help him in this. Thanks to them, a variety of fermented milk products of the TM “Bila Lineya” are gradually born in spacious silver tanks, from the already familiar kefir to fermented baked milk, sourdough and yogurt.
