Spectacle diet

At its core, the glasses diet is also the name of the Kremlin diet and the Atkins diet. The points diet is a nutritional principle that, being a prototype of the Kremlin diet and the Atkins diet, is based on the fact that each product is given a number of points based on the amount of carbohydrates it contains.

At its core, the spectacle diet contains a protein principle, that is, the consumption of carbohydrates and fats is limited, while protein foods can be consumed without restrictions. But this does not mean that a product with zero carbohydrate content can be consumed for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When following a glasses diet, you need to take into account the basic principles of nutrition, and the menu should be varied.

Based on the glasses diet table, you can “eat” no more than 40 glasses per day, which is when you will lose weight. 60 points is the golden mean, at which the weight will stay the same. If you eat more than 60 points per day, you will gain excess weight.

During the diet, you should drink a lot of fluid, this is necessary so that the body is cleansed of toxins and the kidneys work better. Drinks include regular and herbal teas, as well as water. Sugar is strictly prohibited. With a points diet, you can afford fried, fatty, salty and spicy foods, but the amount of their consumption must be strictly controlled according to the table and points.

Sweets and fruits are prohibited, but avocados are an exception as they are low in carbohydrates. You can also take additional vitamins and dietary supplements during your diet if you feel that your nutrition is inadequate.

The duration of the glasses diet varies from 10 days to 2 months.

The glasses diet is highly not recommended for people suffering from stomach and kidney diseases. The same applies to the period of pregnancy and lactation - in these cases, the diet is highly undesirable.
