Trend in dietetics: sushi diet

What kind of diets people come up with in order to eat deliciously and not gain weight. One such nutritional system that even celebrities adhere to is the sushi diet. Many stars - Demi Moore, Robbie Williams, Nikolai Baskov, Frank Sinatra, Steven Spielberg - prefer the sushi diet to traditional diets.

The sushi-based diet is a relatively new and fashionable trend in dietetics. With the help of sushi, you can restore slimness, energy and attractiveness in the shortest possible time.

Why sushi?

Sushi normalizes digestive processes, preserves the beauty of nails, hair, teeth, and is also considered a natural aphrodisiac.

Sushi is a low-calorie food that is quite filling. Thus, one sushi with tuna contains only 73 kilocalories and 0.19 g of fat, and sushi with squid contains 71 kilocalories and 0.15 g of fat. In comparison, one small shortbread cookie contains 78 kilocalories, and contains virtually no nutrients.

Sushi is very healthy. Rice, which is the main ingredient in sushi, is an excellent source of energy that supplies the body with carbohydrates and fiber, protein, thiamine, iron and niacin. Seafood has many beneficial minerals, amino acids, vitamins and salts, fish contains B vitamins, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iodine and fluorine. Seaweed helps you lose weight.

Sushi is delicious. It’s much more pleasant to stick to a sushi diet than to exhaust yourself by starving or eating something you absolutely don’t like.

Nutrition principle

It is not recommended to eat exclusively sushi for a week. It is enough to arrange one fasting sushi day once a week. It is preferable to prepare sushi, rolls or sashimi yourself: you will be sure of the quality and it will be cheaper.

Eat sushi in small portions, slowly, ideally using Japanese chopsticks. This way you can avoid overeating.

When following a sushi diet, it is important to eat a variety of types of sushi throughout the day, without repeating it.

Breakfast – 8-10 pieces of rolls.

Lunch – 8 pieces of rolls.

Dinner – 4-6 pieces of rolls.

Japanese cuisine is quite diverse, so in addition to the sushi itself (and sometimes instead of sushi), you can eat salads, sashimi and miso soups. It is recommended to drink green tea or water with lemon. However, remember that rolls during this diet should be the simplest. They should not contain such ingredients as cheese, caviar, dough, fatty sauces, etc.

Some nutritionists advise not to have sushi for breakfast, as it is quite heavy food for the stomach. In this case, focus on how you feel. If you feel discomfort, replace sushi with vegetable salad, soft-boiled egg or oatmeal with fruit.

This diet is contraindicated for allergy sufferers and people suffering from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
