If you want to eat something “harmful”, then it is better to choose a product based on the principle of “two evils”. For example, when choosing between chocolate and chips, it is better to eat a box of chocolates than a bag of chips. This choice will be less harmful to the body, since the disadvantage of chocolate is that sugar accumulates excess energy, which can lead to obesity. And if you lead an active lifestyle and exercise regularly, then a little sweet shouldn’t hurt.

In addition, Finnish nutritionists recommend adding a number of foods to your diet that can improve your health. We are accustomed to eating some of these products since childhood, but we do not know about their beneficial properties.

The first product on the list is kiwi. This fruit can cover the daily requirement of vitamin C and thus strengthen our immune system, blood vessels, help the body fight infections and stress. Kiwi also contains a large amount of mineral salts of potassium, magnesium and fiber, which helps normalize digestion and remove cholesterol.

The second product is cranberry. This is an indispensable product for colds, because cranberries kill viruses and have an antipyretic effect. In addition, it strengthens the gums, enhances the secretory activity of the pancreas and lowers blood pressure in people suffering from hypertension.

Raisins are the third product on our list. It strengthens the nervous and cardiovascular systems, fights tooth decay and gum disease, and helps suppress anger.

Last but not least, broccoli. This is a vegetable that contains many useful substances, such as vitamins C, PP, K, U, beta-carotene, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, iron. Broccoli has twice as much mineral salts and protein as cauliflower. Broccoli also contains selenium, a substance that is considered an antioxidant and protects the body from free radicals.

In addition to the products listed, it is important to drink enough water and limit the consumption of foods containing large amounts of animal fats, sugar and salt. It is also recommended to eat a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, dairy products, meat and fish.
